{outfit post - little lace dress}

{urban outfitters hat (similar here), forever21 lace dress, anthropologie army jacket, hue tights, steve madden booties, michael kors watch, urban outfitters necklace}

i love when a super affordable piece becomes a wardrobe staple. i snatched up this lace dress at forever21 for just $29 and it's become one of my go to pieces this winter. it looks great toughened up by adding an army or leather jacket but just as sweet all alone.

  4. Hi! Thanks for visiting earlier (ps: the scarf is one of my favorites!). It's so true, lace and leather look fantastic together. I'm doing my own experiment today, mixing leather with flowers. I love that kind of contrast.

  6. I have a cream lace dress from Urban Outfitters that I thought would only wear once but to my surprise it's one of my staples. This was a great deal and I too love when affordable things put together a priceless outfit.

  8. I'm fairly certain we own the same lace dress (and gold watch!) and I completely agree, it's a great staple! Except mine feels a little short at times (I purposely ordered a larger size to avoid that but maybe it backfired because raising my arms considerably raises the dress length!), so I wear mine as a top more often than as a dress. :)
